hide.me VPN Client for iOS Won’t Connect

Q: I can login but the hide.me VPN client for iOS isn’t connecting

A: Start the VPN client and login with your hide.me username and password. Afterwards, press the Enable VPN button to test the connection.

Alternatively, you can establish a VPN connection by using an alternative VPN protocol. Connecting with OpenVPN VPN protocol requires a separate app. In order to do so, please follow this tutorial.

Q: What else can you do?

A: If the VPN client for iOS isn’t connecting and you have an alternate Internet connection available (friend’s WiFi or cell network), try connecting via that connection and see if your ISP is blocking the connection. In case it does, contact our Technical support and they will take you trough further troubleshooting steps.
